This cake I did last semester for my final cake. It was a scarecrow theme. I got the idea off of pintrest. This was my first topsy turvy cake that I have ever done. The cake was a pumpkin spice cake with a pumpkin spice butter cream frosting under the fondant. I made the scarecrow, pumpkins, leaves, and vines by hand out of fondant.

Assignment: Wedding Cake
So for my midterm in my Advanced Cake Decorating class we had to replicate a cake from our Wilton Wedding Cake book. We only had to do 2 tiers and we were allowed to add a few changes to it. I chose to do Enthralling Vision for my cake:
I made a few minor changes. I did 2 tiers and then I did the flowers 3 different shades of red. I also arranged the flowers differently. I only did one set of pearl swags instead of 2 and I pipped on the leaves because of time constraints. Here is my version of Enthralling Vision:

Welcome!
I have finally decided to start a blog for my cakes! I have so many friends getting married this summer I figured it's about high time I got some advertising out there for it! Here are some pictures of cakes I have done in the past. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have or if you would like me to do a cake for you!
